--Leaders in DevOps Integration and Systems Engineering aim to increase collaboration and project success in complex development environments --

VANCOUVER, BC, November 24, 2014 - Tasktop (www.tasktop.com), the leader in DevOps Integration and the creators of the Eclipse Mylyn open source project, and Sodius, the market leader in interoperability solutions for systems development, today announce their partnership, including that Sodius has become a Tasktop reseller.

Sodius is a recognized leader in the systems space, dedicated to improving engineering processes for designing complex systems, products, and software. Tasktop is a leader in integrating DevOps tools and improving the efficiency and visibility of software development and delivery teams.

Complex systems, such as automobiles, are increasingly differentiated by the software embedded in them. Companies designing and developing these systems continually look for ways to improve their software delivery capability. This partnership brings together the distinctly different and highly complementary capabilities of Tasktop and Sodius, to the benefit of their mutual customers. Sodius customers can now purchase Tasktop products directly from Sodius, and Tasktop customers in the systems engineering space will benefit from enhancements in Tasktop products that are uniquely tailored to them. Tasktop also collaborated with Sodius to develop an IBM DOORS® integration, leveraging Sodius’ expertise in the systems engineering space.

“We’ve already begun to enhance our products with capabilities unique to the system engineering space,” stated Dave West, Tasktop Chief Product Officer. “For example, our integration with IBM Rational DOORS® enables systems engineers to specify requirements in their tool of choice, while allowing the software development team to see, modify and fulfill those requirements in their tools of choice, including Agile planning tools.”

“Being able to provide Tasktop products to our customers allows us to more fully support their holistic engineering practices, from systems engineering through software engineering.” indicated Thomas Capelle, President of Sodius Corp. “We’re delighted to work with Tasktop to enable better engineering practices through enhanced collaboration, productivity and insight.”
